Lady Dragon Volleyball survives tough road test at Marcus

Lady Dragon Volleyball

For a season that had gone so smooth, a 29-4 record, until last night, suddenly after one set, it was time for a young Lady Dragon squad to look each other in the eye and save their season.

Down a set against a Marcus team on the road, a second straight district loss was a possibility, until the group stormed back. They took three straight sets from Marcus, 18-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-15,  for a 3-1 road victory. This runs their record to 30-4 and 5-1 in district play. (The team is still one game behind first place Hebron who sit at 6-0 in 5-6A play.)

Up next the ladies conclude the first half of district play when they host Flower Mound at home at 6:30pm on Friday, Sept. 30th.
