Champions Again – Lady Dragon Volleyball sweeps Coppell

The Lady Dragons have claimed their first goal, sweeping away Coppell tonight 25-18, 25-11 & 25-23. The team has just ran through one of the toughest districts in the state with a 12-0 record and 40-3 overall mark. Now the UIL playoffs beckon. They will face DeSoto at a site & time to be determined.

Varsity Football game date and time changed

In case you haven’t heard the Carroll football game vs. Haltom, previously scheduled for Friday, October 30th, has been moved to Thursday, October 29th at 7pm due to impending inclement weather this weekend. Game at Birdville FAAC. Freshmen and JV games will now be moved to Wednesday, October 28th.

Area Champs for Tennis

In a day of championships Tennis finally got to play its much delayed Area title match vs. fellow 7-6A opponent Coppell and once again emerged victorious 10-7. The team advances to the region 1 tournament for the 4th consecutive year. Good luck in the next round Team Tennis.

Back to State! Both Cross Country teams qualify for state meet today

The Lady Dragons will reach the UIL State Cross Country meet for the 19th consecutive year as they qualified in 3rd position at the Region 1 Meet in Lubbock today. The Dragons captured their 5th straight Region 1 Championship. Reed Brown was the top individual finisher for CXC with a 2nd place overall finish. Congratulations

Football rolls over Heritage, clinches playoff berth

Southlake Carroll outscored Colleyville Heritage in the 2nd half of a rain delayed game on Saturday night to turn what was a pins & needles 21-14 game at the break into a much more comfortable outcome. With the victory of 49-14 the team will advance to the UIL state playoffs beginning in 3 weeks. But

Lady Dragon Volleyball has another sweep, this time over Colleyville Heritage with no where near the drama of the first meeting. They earned the victory 25-13, 25-15 & 25-14 tonight. They are now one match away from a perfect district season and district championship. They are 39-3 on the season and 11-0 in district 7-6A.

Boys Cross Country finishes FIRST at 7-6A meet

The dynasty that is Carroll Cross Country just keeps running along as they captured the 7-6A meet today with Reed Brown earning top honors for the Dragons with a 2nd place finish. Carroll captured 3 out of the top 4 spots as Michael Waugh finished in 3rd place and Shae Whatley finished 4th. In 7th
