Baseball sweeps double header at Tyde Classic yesterday

After a day’s delay, Carroll finally got the Tyde Classic underway by defeating Colleyville Heritage 4-1 in the opening act of the tournament. The game was tight throughout. Carroll plated 2 runs in 4th in what prior to then had been a tight pitcher’s dual. The Dragon rally was sparked by a Will Quillen double.

Lady Dragon Softball opens Turf War Tourney with two wins

In their first ever tournament day on their new field turf surface, Lady Dragon Softball came out ablaze. Carroll 7-4 overall, outscored their two opponents today 27-1 in two games. First the Lady Dragons defeated Frisco Independence 11-1. Kelly Shackelford took the win in the circle while watching her teammates pile up run after run.

Dragon Tennis had strong weekend in Midland
